Picasso Sulla Spiaggia

Starting from the 26^th of August until the 7^th of January, the Project Rooms of Peggy Guggenheim collection will host the exhibition “PICASSO. Sulla Spiaggia”, curated by Luca Massimo Barbero. The exhibition is part of a triennial project called “Picasso-Méditerranée” promoted by the Musée national Picasso-Paris which aims at celebrating the work of Pablo Picasso and his strong bond with the Mediterranean culture. The Peggy Guggenheim Collection participates in the project, alongside more than sixty institutions, by showing for the first time gathered together three paintings, ten drawings and one sculpture, a selection of works conceived in order to highlight the important role played by the Mediterranean within the artistic experience of Picasso.
