Maria Bissacco began making bobbin lace in 1994, gaining her diploma as a master lacemaker from the Gorizia Scuola Corsi Merletti in 2000-2001. The Museo del Merletto has chosen to present an anthology exhibition to showcase the creativity and modernity Bissacco has incorporated into the art of bobbin lace.
